Education & Background

Laura is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), a designation reserved for only a few hundred nurses nationwide who have experience, plastic surgery training, and have passed an additional board examination. Laura also earned a Bachelors degree in nursing at the University of Virginia, followed by a master’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University.

Currently a board-certified nurse practitioner with advanced training and certification in treatments such as facial injections, skin resurfacing, laser treatments, and body sculpting, her luxurious, client-focused boutique spa offers a full range of anti-aging treatments and enhancing procedures for face and body.

An educator and trainer

Laura Zimmerman has a passion for teaching others the art and technique of injectables. She is sought after for her trainings on microcannula use and her famous lip technique. She is a galderma (GAIN) injector faculty. She has trained dermatology and plastic surgery residents, as well as numerus advanced injectors.
