THERMI

THERMIsmooth® uses radiofrequency technology to deliver heat energy to the subdermal inner layer of the skin. This causes collagen and elastic re-growth, which tightens and smooths the skin, and also fills in dimples caused by cellulite.

Sculptra

The active ingredient in Sculptra®, poly-L-lactic acid, triggers the body’s natural collagen-making process in the areas where it’s administered, thereby lifting sagging skin to provide a firmer, tighter appearance.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is often referred to as “the non-surgical face and neck lift” because of its outstanding lifting and tightening ability. Completely non-invasive, this procedure achieves beautiful, natural-looking results by utilizing highly focused soundwaves to regenerate collagen, firm the skin, and slow down the aging process.

The ultrasound waves (which can penetrate more deeply than a laser) are administered directly through the skin, where they target problem areas with tiny columns of thermal energy and heat up the tissue. This makes the tissue contract and tighten, which renews and strengthens the existing collagen. The result is visibly lifted and tightened skin.

Treatment details

Before treatment, your skin will be cleansed, and the area will be marked to help guide your doctor. Ultrasound gel will be applied to the handheld Ultherapy device and applied directly onto your skin. Most patients find the treatment very tolerable, but your doctor will ensure you’re comfortable throughout the procedure. Ultherapy treatments take approximately 30 minutes to one hour. You can return to your regular day immediately afterwards, although you may experience some redness and/or numbness. The majority of patients feel an immediate tightening effect of the skin after treatment, but final results will take 2 to 6 months to become fully visible, as the collagen production process takes some time. Results can last up to two years.

THERMIsmooth

THERMIsmooth® can also improve loose skin of the face. This treatment is great for all skin types and requires minimal downtime. THERMIsmooth is non-invasive, using only a small handheld device to deliver the radiofrequency energy. This device works in tiny circular motions to gradually heat the skin, causing the collagen inside to shrink, which allows the skin to tighten up and become smoother. The heat also causes your body to naturally make brand-new collagen, which will fill in the dimpled appearance of cellulite. Patients often compare THERMIsmooth to getting a warm massage, and there is no downtime afterward. Approximately four THERMIsmooth appointments are recommended.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable treatment, but unlike most dermal fillers, it has the ability to stimulate the production of brand-new collagen, which helps to lift sagging skin. Made from poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra works to restore the underlying structure of the skin to replenish your natural facial volume. After Sculptra injections, you will see a firmer, smoother, more youthful appearance, with improved skin elasticity and texture.

Sculptra treatment details

Your skin will be cleansed (and numbed with a topical anesthetic if you prefer) before treatment begins. The Sculptra will then be administered in a series of injections. Once these are complete, the treated area will be massaged to adequately disperse the product.

Sculptra treatments take approximately 20 minutes, and you may return to your regular day. Some patients experience minimal swelling immediately after treatment, as well as possible redness, tenderness, and/or bruising at the injection sites. Unlike the instant results of dermal fillers, Sculptra takes about two months before changes are apparent. However, once the results are visible, they can last for two years.
