ZL Medspa

The Aquagold Microinfusion treatment is a revolutionary way to strategically place Botox, Hyaluronic Acid, PRP (platelet rich plasma) and vitamins into the skin of the face and neck. The Aquagold fine touch device is comprised of gold plated needles which are finer than the human hair, making this a pain free procedure. At ZL, our Aquagold treatment is performed by Laura Zimmerman, Nurse Practitioner.

A customized blend of Botox and Vitamins targeted for your skin needs

Our blend of biologicals and vitamins tighten, lighten, and promote a clear complexion. A typical “cocktail” consists of either Botox or Xeomin, a hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvederm or Restylane, antioxidants, and peptides. We may also create a more natural cocktail using PRP, or platelet rich plasma. PRP is obtained from a small sample of your blood to harvest powerful growth factors for collagen stimulation.

No more oily skin when the temperature starts rising

Intradermal Botox has been practiced, studied, and deemed effective for reducing sebum production. This administration of Botox is very different from using Botox to treat lines and wrinkles. Multiple clinical studies have established that placing Botox just below the skins surface will improve acne and rosacea.

No downtime and pain free

The aquagold fine touch has 20 gold plated needles which are finer than the human hair. Following the procedure, there may be slight redness which typically resolves within a few hours.

Results you’ll love

You’ll start to notice skin smoothing and brightening within the first 3-5 days with continued improvement for 2 more weeks. Results typically last 3-4 months. Plan to receive an aquagold microinfusion treatment at least a week before an important event to enjoy the benefits of glowing smooth skin.

Aquagold Microinfusion is a completely different way to use Botox and will not affect muscle movement.

The aquagold Microinfusion does not replace the need for regular Botox injections to minimize expression lines. During an Aquagold treatment, the dose is smaller, spread out over a larger surface area, and placed in the dermis- not the muscle. You do not need to worry about any frozen faces or loss of motion with this treatment. The use of intradermal Botox for skin conditions has routinely used for several years and its efficacy and safety has been documented in scientific journals.

A great treatment for even the most sensitive skin

Aquagold fine touch is a sterile single patient device. The pure gold plated needles have high biocompatibility with human skin, preventing irritation or allergic responses.

FAQ

How does Aquagold Microinfusion differ from Microneedling?

The aquagold treatment is targeted towards a more superficial layer of the skin than medical grade microneedling. Medical grade micorneedling will produce more collagen and elastin and improve acne scarring. Medical grade microneedling will also have a little bit more downtime due to the more invasive nature.

What should I do before my Aquagold Treatment?

We highly recommend a hydrafacial prior to treatment. The hydrafacial will “deep clean” the pores and remove dead skin cells to allow the Aqugold infusion to penetrate better and more evenly. You can arrange to have the hydrafacial the same day, just ask when booking your appointment.

Please arrive with a clean, makeup free face. Refrain from any direct sun exposure prior to treatment. You can not receive this treatment if you are currently on Accutane.

After the procedure, are there any special precautions?

No, in fact that is one of the many advantages of this treatment.

However we do recommend the following post treatment guidelines for the best results.

  • Avoid washing your face the day of treatment.
  • Avoid putting makeup on after treatment, sunscreen is ok.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure immediately after treatment.
