Step one: VISIA Skin Analysis

A consultation with Laura Zimmerman, our board-certified nurse practitioner, is the first step in treating and managing hyperpigmentation and melasma. She will utilize our VISIA® Skin Analysis machine to capture images of your skin at both a surface and much deeper level.

These images help us to not only see the superficial pigmentation in your skin, but also hidden UV damage and brown spots under the surface of your skin. This allows us to target the pigmentation before it has the chance to surface.

Enlighten Rx

Safe for all skin types, the Enlighten Rx peel is a once-a-year type of treatment due to its effectiveness. This mask is full of high hydroquinone and retinol concentrations, and it stays on for 8 to 12 hours.

For the next 28 days, you will apply a formulated sequence of products that we send home with you. Expect redness, swelling, and heavy peeling for the first 3 to 4 days, and then beautiful results. You will be able to see early changes at two weeks, with even more dramatic results around six weeks.

Medical grade skincare

With medical grade products that include ingredients such as tranexamic acid and vitamin C, we can lighten the appearance of existing pigmentation while simultaneously preventing further discoloration.

Using the power of Broadband Light™, the Forever Young laser addresses both the top layer of skin and the lower layers at the molecular level to restore damaged skin cells. It’s the only device of its kind, as it uses powerful light technology to specifically work on the skin molecules that are associated with aging. Besides this, Forever Young BBL also provides a three-in-one treatment because it focuses on underlying red lesions, brown lesions, and loose skin.

Chemical peels

With as little as two days of downtime and a series of 3 to 4 peels, you’ll be on your way to brighten, move even skin. Our medical grade chemical peels improve hyperpigmentation by removing the top layer of old skin. The new skin that replaces it is smoother and healthier-looking, revealing unblemished skin as healing progresses. Our skincare specialists will be able to recommend the optimal chemical peel for your exact level of hyperpigmentation.

HALO laser

As the first hybrid laser, HALO combines both ablative and non-ablative lasers to target the epidermis and dermis at the same time. This procedure offers results that are more similar to ablative laser treatments, but with very little downtime. Most patients experience noticeably improved skin tone and texture after only 1 or 2 treatments. With dual wavelengths, each treatment can be customized based on each patient’s unique needs.
