BBL treatment details

Before your Forever Young BBL treatment, you will be provided with protective eyewear and a topical anesthetic. The laser will deliver rapid bursts of light energy directly into your skin, which creates a warm sensation, but nothing uncomfortable.

Treatment time is approximately 20 minutes, although the specific amount of time will depend on your unique skin condition. We recommend a series of 3 to 5 treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart for the best results.

Recovery and results

The majority of Forever Young BBL patients are able to resume their regular activities following treatment. Side effects are rare and minimal, with the most commonly experienced side effect being skin reddening. This can be covered with makeup, and should subside within just a few hours. Some patients also have some mild swelling the first couple of days after treatment. It’s important to note that after a Forever Young BBL treatment, patients will need to avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks. Sunscreen and sun protection are crucial during this time. Early results can often be seen in one week, with improvements progressing more and more over the course of several months.

Who is the best candidate for Forever Young BBL?

Forever Young BBL is safe for all skin types except for people with skin type 6 (very dark). This treatment cannot be used on any sort of tattooed areas (either traditional tattoos or permanent makeup tattoos). The best types of skin for Forever Young BBL are skin types I to IV (fair to olive).
