Using the power of Broadband Light™, the Forever Clear laser triggers the body’s natural healing process, creating cell regeneration that results in clearer, fresher, more healthy skin. Forever Clear BBL has three levels of light energy to address acne: blue, yellow, and infrared.

Forever Clear BBL treatment details

There are a lot of flashes in the Forever Clear BBL treatment, so before the treatment begins we will give you protective eyewear. After the eyewear has been placed, we will apply an ultrasound gel to help the handpiece glide more easily, and to help the light be absorbed more efficiently. The handheld device will pass over your skin, delivering rapid bursts of light directly into the skin. Forever Clear BBL treatments are pain-free, with only a tiny sensation of prickling on top of the skin, and some warmth. After the treatment is complete, the gel will be removed. Treatment time will vary for everyone, but typically sessions last approximately 20 minutes.

Recovery and results

One of the best things about Forever Clear BBL treatments is that there is essentially no downtime. You may experience a little redness in the treated area for the rest of the day, but makeup can easily cover this.

Over the next day or two, your skin may feel dryer than usual, but this is a sign that the treatment is working, as the oil is drying up. Although many patients see wonderful results from just one Forever Clear BBL treatment, some patients get the best benefits from 2 to 4 treatments scheduled once every two weeks.

Is Forever Clear BBL safe?

When administered by a licensed, experienced medical professional, this treatment is very safe. It has been FDA approved to treat acne and oily skin.

Are there any side effects?

There aren’t typically any side effects from Forever Clear BBL, except for mild redness for a day. However, some patients have experienced tingling, swelling, tenderness, irritation, and/or darkened patches on the skin. If these side effects present themselves, they are mild and will subside within a few hours.

Who is the best candidate for Forever Clear BBL?
