LightStim® is an excellent standalone treatment for fighting acne or wrinkles, but it also works well as a pre- or post-procedure service to help with inflammation and healing. LightStim is a great option for all skin types. LightStim is an LED light therapy that uses light of a specific wavelength to decrease inflammation and treat certain skin conditions.
This treatment delivers UV-free light to stimulate cells, increase blood flow, and create new proteins. When performed before or after a treatment such as microneedling or lasers, LightStim can greatly decrease the redness and inflammation that can be a side effect of those services.
LightStim uses both red and amber LED light to decrease fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, this treatment helps with topical skincare absorption, which makes the skin feel amazing, hydrated, and radiant.
LightStim’s blue LED light therapy targets acne-causing bacteria in the oil glands, and also calms any current breakouts. This treatment helps to clear skin for a brighter, healthier complexion.
LightStim treatments last approximately 20 minutes. You will be made comfortable on a medical chair, and goggles will be provided to protect your eyes from the LED light. A serum may be applied to your skin to help receive the light more efficiently.
The four-panel LightStim device will then be placed over your face, where the skin will be heated without any damage — only healing. The LightStim MultiWave® technology delivers multiple wavelengths of light all at the same time. These wavelengths work together to calm and nourish your skin.
